Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 5–9 years of experience in software development and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and scripting , with the ability to work independently as a technical SME.

Must-Have Skills
SDLC / Software Development: 6+ years
SME / Subject Matter Expertise: 1+ year
Scripting: Python preferred; Go, Ruby, or Bash also acceptable
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI
Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Manage and automate application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes .
Develop automation scripts using Python, Go, Ruby, or Bash .
Manage source code and branching strategies using Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket .




Collaborate with development and engineering teams throughout the SDLC .
Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and pipeline issues.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, deployment efficiency, and engineering processes.
Act as an SME for DevOps tools and practices and provide technical guidance to team members.
Ensure reliable, repeatable, and effective CI/CD and deployment processes.
Participate in production support and resolve technical issues when required.

Ideal Candidate
Robust hands-on experience with Jenkins + GitLab CI + Docker + Kubernetes .
Solid scripting/automation experience, preferably Python .
Solid understanding of Git-based development workflows .
Comfortable working as an independent contributor and taking ownership of DevOps challenges.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
