Role: Director of Engineering – Product & Platform

We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead technical strategy, product engineering, and high-scale platform development in a fast-growing, product-led technology organization.

Key Responsibilities
Define technical strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap aligned with business goals.
Partner with Product, Design, Security, and Business teams to drive measurable outcomes.
Lead large engineering teams and develop Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders .
Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
Drive scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable software platforms.
Oversee engineering delivery, resource planning, performance management, and talent development.
Establish strong practices around governance, risk, security, privacy,



and compliance.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve product capabilities and engineering efficiency.

Required Experience
15–20+ years of total software engineering experience .
Strong experience in a SaaS .
Strong Backend OR Data Engineering background.
Strong expertise in Java / Scala / Golang
Strong Microservices and distributed systems architecture experience.
Proven experience managing 30+ people .
Solid engineering leadership and people-management experience.
Experience building and scaling an engineering team from scratch is a major plus.
Robust experience working in a product-led, high-growth workplace .
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology initiatives to business outcomes.
