We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, handling invoices, entries, reconciliations, GST-related documentation, and assisting the senior accounts team with routine financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
Record purchase, sales, receipt, and payment transactions.
Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
Handle bank and ledger reconciliation.
Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
Assist with GST-related data, documentation, and reconciliations.
Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
Follow up on outstanding customer payments when required.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing and payment-related queries.
Support the senior accountant in regular accounting and compliance activities.
Requirements
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years of experience in accounting preferred.
Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge may also be considered.
Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Working knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST and accounting procedures.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage routine accounting work independently.
