Develop and maintain automation solutions for Mainframe operations and production support. Create and enhance automation scripts using REXX, JCL, Python, Shell Scripting, CLIST. Automate batch job monitoring, scheduling, alerting, and recovery processes.
Manage and support scheduling tools such as ESP, CA7, Control-M, AutoSys, and TWS. Monitor production settings and proactively resolve job failures and performance issues. Implement process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
Work with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to integrate Mainframe automation into enterprise automation frameworks. Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring incidents. Support change management, release activities, and production deployments.
Prepare operational documentation, runbooks, and automation standards.
