Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Quantum Photonic Researcher – Consultant to provide technical leadership in the design, simulation, generation of bright quantum light (or bright twin beams) with a four-wave mixing process and optical parametric amplification (OPA) using Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs).

The role will focus on building a theoretical modelling of devices for Quantum Enhanced performance and conceiving requirements towards translating system-level architectures along with inter-play optimizations across materials, peripheral interfaces and integration processes.

The consultant will work closely with PIC designers, photonic device engineers,



packaging engineers, PCB/electronics designers, and system architects to develop manufacturable and testable RF-photonic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Quantum Enhanced Theoretical Modelling of existing devices/systems/processes.
2. Literature Review - Materials, Techniques, Technologies, and Processes for Technical Architecture and realization approaches for generation of bright quantum light & optical parametric amplification (OPA).
3. Propose robust experiments for verification of the modelling and collection of data with high statistical confidence.

Educational Background: M.Tech / M.S. / Ph.D. in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Photonics or a related discipline.

Exceptional industry experience may substitute for an advanced degree.

Key Deliverables The consultant would typically be accountable for:

1. High Quality Whitepaper on theoretical models proposed.
2. Propose robust understanding of noise sources & mitigation strategies.
3. Interface with Experimental Physicists and Engineers towards joint realization of experiments and verifications.
4. Detailed Project/Grant Paper technical authorship.
5. Ability to present at various conferences of international repute.
