QZ is a UAE-based Microsoft Dynamics partner delivering D365 Finance & Operations implementations and support for clients across the UAE, GCC and India. We are expanding our delivery team in India.

We are hiring a D365 F&O; Finance Functional Consultant to design, configure and support finance solutions for our clients. You will own the finance workstream across implementations, rollouts, upgrades and SLA-based support, working directly with client finance teams and our technical consultants.

This role suits a consultant who has delivered at least two end-to-end D365 F&O; implementations and wants more client ownership and solution-design responsibility.

- Lead requirement-gathering workshops with client finance stakeholders and translate business needs into D365 F&O; solutions
- Run fit-gap analysis and prepare functional design documents (FDDs), process flows and configuration documents
- Configure core Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Treasury, Credit & Collections, Fixed Assets, Budgeting and Tax Management
- Set up legal entities, chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting profiles, number sequences, periods and intercompany accounting
- Support cost accounting, project accounting and inventory costing integration with SCM teams where needed
- Configure tax and localisation for UAE/GCC clients (VAT, Corporate Tax, e-invoicing) and India clients (GST, TDS, TCS)

- Prepare test scripts and drive SIT, UAT and regression testing; track and close defects
- Plan and execute data migration (opening balances, masters, open transactions)

- Support cut-over, go-live, hypercare and FastTrack go-live readiness assessments
- Deliver end-user training and prepare user manuals and SOPs

- Resolve functional tickets within SLA using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or ServiceNow
- Analyse and test One Version updates and recommend new features to clients
- Assist with period-end and year-end close, consolidation and financial reporting (Financial Reports, Power BI)

- Write clear functional specifications for technical consultants (X++ customisations, integrations, reports) and validate the delivered solution
- Work with integration teams to ensure clean data flow between D365 Finance and banks, payroll, CRM and other systems
- Estimate effort and manage scope, risks and timelines for the finance workstream, reporting status to project managers and clients

- 3–7 years of experience, including at least 3 years as a functional consultant on D365 F&O; (or AX 2012 with D365 upgrade exposure)
- At least 2 full-lifecycle D365 F&O; implementations (3+ preferred for candidates with 5+ years)
- Strong hands-on configuration of GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets and Budgeting
- Sound accounting knowledge: accruals, period close, intercompany, consolidation, multi-currency, and how the financial close runs inside an ERP
- Working knowledge of sales tax setup in D365 F&O;, ideally UAE/GCC VAT and/or India GST and TDS




- Data migration experience using the Data Management Framework and Excel add-ins
- Experience on SLA-based support projects and ticketing tools
- Ability to write clear FDDs, test scripts and training material
- Strong communication and stakeholder management; comfortable leading client design sessions
- Structured problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Microsoft certification: MB-310 (Finance Functional Consultant Associate) and/or MB-300 (Finance and Operations Core)
- Exposure to Project Management & Accounting, cost accounting or inventory costing
- Experience with global rollouts, multi-country localisation or AX 2012 to D365 upgrades
- Exposure to Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
- Experience with manufacturing, distribution, retail or professional services clients
- UAE/GCC client exposure, including UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, is a strong plus

- CA, ACCA, CMA, CA Inter, MBA (Finance), M.Com or B.Com; a finance background is strongly preferred
- An engineering or IT degree with solid hands-on D365 Finance experience is also considered
