The company uses solvent extraction technology to manufacture natural extracts for food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and personal care applications.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced QA & QC professionals to manage quality assurance, laboratory testing, product analysis, documentation, and quality compliance at our oleoresin extraction plant. The selected candidates will ensure that raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and manufacturing processes meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control (QC)

- Conduct quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, including turmeric extracts, oleoresins, curcumin, and other botanical extracts.
- Perform laboratory analysis using instruments such as HPLC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, and GC, as applicable to the laboratory's testing capabilities.
- Analyze product parameters such as curcumin content, active constituents, moisture, residual solvents, purity, and other relevant quality attributes.
- Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and laboratory test reports.
- Ensure proper sampling, testing, retention sample management, and laboratory record maintenance.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure the reliability of analytical results.

Quality Assurance (QA)




- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), specifications, quality manuals, and quality records.
- Monitor compliance with applicable quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements relevant to the products manufactured.
- Review batch manufacturing records, process documentation, and quality control reports.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure adherence to approved manufacturing procedures.
- Support internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections, as applicable.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve product consistency.
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, data integrity, and record retention.
- Monitor cleaning procedures, hygiene, and contamination-prevention practices in production and laboratory areas.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior / Managerial Positions
- Supervise and guide QA/QC executives, chemists, and laboratory personnel.
- Establish quality control plans, testing schedules, and laboratory workflows.
- Review analytical results, approve quality documentation within the authorized scope, and ensure timely release decisions.
- Monitor quality trends, product rejection rates, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
- Improve testing methods,



laboratory efficiency, and quality management systems.
- Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams to maintain consistent product quality.

Educational Qualification

- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Chemistry preferred.
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry or a relevant qualification may be considered based on practical experience and role requirements.
- Candidates with relevant analytical chemistry and quality assurance experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, food ingredient, or botanical extraction industries are preferred.

Required Experience

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, analytical chemistry, or quality control in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in turmeric extracts, oleoresins, curcumin, botanical extracts, herbal extracts, spice extracts, or solvent-based chemical processing will be preferred.
- Practical experience in laboratory testing, analytical instruments, quality documentation, and product specifications is required for relevant positions.
- Experience with HPLC, UV-Vis, GC, and residual solvent analysis will be an advantage.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and quality testing procedures.
- Hands-on experience with relevant laboratory instruments and analytical methods.
- Understanding of QA/QC documentation, SOPs, COAs, deviations, and CAPA.
- Knowledge of raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with Production, R&D;, and other departments.
