Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor QA engineers across manual and automation testing.
- Define and implement QA strategies for mobile applications across Android and iOS.
- Prepare test plans, estimates, risk assessments and release-readiness reports.
- Design, develop and maintain mobile UI automation frameworks using Java, TestNG and Appium.
- Automate functional, regression, smoke and end-to-end mobile application scenarios.
- Develop reusable automation components using Page Object Model (POM) and framework best practices.
- Execute and validate applications across Android/iOS devices, emulators and simulators.
- Design and develop API automation using Java and REST Assured.
- Validate REST APIs including status codes, response payloads, headers, authentication and business logic.
- Integrate API and mobile UI automation for end-to-end validation.
- Review requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, exploratory, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document and track defects through the complete defect life cycle.
- Maintain automation code in Git and follow branching, PR and code-review practices.




- Integrate automation suites with Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines and support scheduled/deployment-triggered execution.
- Analyze automation failures and coordinate with development teams for timely resolution.
- Drive automation adoption, improve test coverage, framework stability, reliability and execution efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in QA, with strong expertise in Mobile Application Testing across Android and iOS.
- Solid hands-on experience with Appium and programming experience in Java.
- Strong experience with TestNG and designing/maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong experience in API Automation using REST Assured.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods and authentication mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of QA processes, SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in framework design, automation strategy and QA leadership/mentoring.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
