Roles and Responsibilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases hosted on Exadata platforms.
Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, and operational health.
Perform backup and recovery activities using RMAN and validate recovery readiness.
Administer Data Guard, RAC, and other high-availability database settings.
Troubleshoot critical production incidents and provide L2/L3 Oracle DBA support.
Support database migrations, version upgrades, maintenance activities, and technical change implementation.
Skills Required:
8 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, including Exadata environments.
Solid expertise in Oracle database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
Experience administering high-availability environments using Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
Practical knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery, database troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Experience providing L2/L3 production support and resolving critical database incidents.
Positive to Have:
Experience with enterprise data platforms and database migration initiatives.
Education: B.Sc. or B.Tech. degree.
