Key Responsibilities
Understand customer drawings and requirements.
Develop recent SS pipe/tube products.
Prepare 2D/3D drawings and BOM.
Select material, size, thickness and process.
Develop prototypes and samples.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room and Purchase.
Develop manufacturing processes and tooling.
Support welding, forming, bending, cutting and finishing processes.
Define process parameters and inspection methods.
Prepare testing and validation plans.
Analyze trial results and solve product/process issues.
Support PPAP and customer approval.
Ensure successful product launch into production.
Improve quality, productivity and development cost.
