Production Design Engineer Location: Mumbai Experience: 2–5 Years Accommodation: Provided Job Summary We are looking for a Production Design Engineer who can manage both Mechanical Design and Production activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and shop-floor coordination.

Key Responsibilities - Design and develop mechanical components and products.
Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings, and production drawings.
Coordinate with the production and shop-floor teams.
Support CNC/VMC machining, laser cutting, bending, welding, and fabrication activities.
Develop prototypes and make design modifications based on production requirements.
Identify and resolve design and manufacturing-related issues.
Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing.
Support dimensional inspection and quality control activities.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when required.
Improve production processes, designs,



and product quality.

Required Skills - Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Positive understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T.;
Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, bending, and welding.
Understanding of BOM preparation and production drawings.
Good problem-solving and shop-floor coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for both design and production activities.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with practical Design + Production + Shop-Floor experience will be preferred. Interested candidates can share their CV.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
