Role Purpose

Lead the clinical and functional planning of healthcare fit-out projects, from the brief to the approved layout. You will make sure every space works for clinicians and patients and meets regulatory norms, and that the design can be built and costed.

Key Responsibilities :
Prepare functional programmes, area statements, departmental adjacencies and patient, staff and material flow diagrams

2.Develop zoning, test-fits and detailed layouts for OPDs, IPDs, ICUs, OTs, diagnostics and labs, day-care and support services

3.Coordinate with clients' clinical heads, hospital administrators, MEP and medical equipment planners Ensure compliance with NBC, NABH, state health and fire norms, and infection control requirements (FGI/HTM as reference)

4.Translate approved plans into design and BOQ inputs with the design, projects and estimation teams

5.Review drawings and site conditions, and resolve clinical planning queries during execution

6.Support client presentations and proposals on healthcare projects

7.Mentor junior designers on healthcare planning





Requirements

1.B.Arch (M.Arch / Hospital Planning or Healthcare Design is a plus)

2.8+ years in healthcare planning or hospital architecture, with at least 2 completed hospital or large clinical projects (100+ beds preferred)

3.Robust knowledge of NBC, NABH, fire and infection-control standards

4.Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with SketchUp or similar for visualisation

5.Explicit communicator with clinical and client stakeholders

6.Able to work independently on tight timelines

Valuable to Have

Experience in fit-out or interior-led healthcare projects (diagnostic labs, day-care, hospital interiors)

Medical equipment planning exposure
