Role & Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe physician dictations, discharge summaries, operative reports, and consultation notes into structured medical documentation.
Ensure all transcribed records comply with HIPAA-guided privacy standards, clinical terminology, and institutional formatting protocols.
Review and edit audio recordings for clarity, correct medical terminology, and proper grammar using EMR-compatible templates.
Flag discrepancies or ambiguities in dictations for clinician review and maintain error logs for continuous quality improvement.
Meet daily transcription targets while maintaining >98% accuracy and turnaround time SLAs.
Collaborate with QA teams to implement feedback, update style guides, and adapt to new specialty-specific templates.
