Role & responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day metal sizing operations for Low Carbon Ferro Chrome.
Manage manpower and allocate operators/workmen across the sizing section.
Monitor the operation of crushers, vibrating screens, conveyors and other material-handling equipment.
Ensure proper crushing and screening of LCFC as per required product size specifications.
Monitor and control oversized and undersized material and ensure proper segregation.
Ensure achievement of daily production and sizing targets.
Monitor material flow, recovery and product quality.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
Identify equipment/process abnormalities and coordinate with the maintenance team for corrective action.
Maintain daily production, manpower and equipment-related records.
Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S standards in the sizing area.
Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, EHS requirements and secure working practices.
Preferred candidate profile Candidates with hands-on experience in Ferro Chrome or Ferro Alloy sizing operations will be preferred. Experience in handling crushing and screening systems, product size control, manpower supervision and production monitoring will be an added advantage.
