Job Overview
Role Summary: Lead the technical sales process for our physical product portfolio, identifying customer engineering needs and proposing custom hardware architectures.
Key Focus: Conduct in office technical evaluations, deliver product demonstrations, and manage the physical proof-of-concept (PoC) pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Consultations: Partner with account executives to meet with clients, review their physical infrastructure, and analyze blueprints or technical schematics.
Hardware Demonstrations: Deliver hands-on, live product demonstrations highlighting tolerances, performance benchmarks, and form factors.
Solution Architecture: Design custom hardware configurations, layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOM) that integrate seamlessly into the client's current setup.
RFP &
Bid Management:

Own the technical response for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring compliance with strict industrial, electrical, or mechanical specifications.
Prototype &
Trial Evaluation:

Coordinate the shipment, setup, calibration,



and testing of evaluation units or physical prototypes at customer sites.
Cross-Functional Feedback: Act as the voice of the customer, passing field reliability data, compatibility issues, and feature requests back to the hardware R&D; and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications &
Skills
Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering (or a closely related technical discipline).
Experience: 2 to 5+ years of experience in technical hardware sales, field application engineering, or product testing.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) or hardware diagnostic tools.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with hardware compliance standards relevant to your industry (e.g., ISO, CE, UL, RoHS).
Communication &
Travel:

Ability to explain complex physical constraints to non-technical procurement teams, alongside a willingness to travel frequently for in office client visits.
