Role Description The Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities for electronic and automation components and services. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune District and involves vendor identification and evaluation, price negotiation, and finalization of purchase orders in line with project and production requirements.

The Purchase

Manager will coordinate with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure timely availability of materials, maintain optimal inventory levels, and track procurement costs against budgets. Daily tasks include monitoring supplier performance, maintaining accurate purchasing records, resolving delivery or quality issues,



and continuously improving purchasing processes and vendor relationships. The role also includes ensuring compliance with company policies and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Solid procurement and vendor management skills, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Experience with inventory control, materials planning, and supply chain coordination in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
- Ability to analyze pricing, cost structures, and market trends to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency in using ERP or procurement software, spreadsheets, and basic office productivity tools.
- Solid understanding of electronic and automation components, embedded systems products, or related technical domains (preferred).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in purchasing or supply chain are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a purchase or procurement role within manufacturing, electronics, or automation industries is highly beneficial.
