About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Purchase Executive with hands-on experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate must possess deep technical knowledge of construction materials (steel, cement, aggregates, finishing materials, MEP, etc.), market trends, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end digital procurement workflows, driving sharp negotiations, and ensuring timely site deliveries at the best possible cost without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Material Procurement & ERP Operations: Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycles—from generating purchase requisitions and purchase orders to tracking inventory and processing GRNs—using industry-standard ERP software.
- Technical Evaluation: Assess material quality, grade, and specifications thoroughly to ensure they meet project engineering standards.
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Leverage market intelligence to negotiate competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and bulk discounts with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors,



and stockists; evaluate vendor performance regularly within the ERP system.
- Order Tracking & Logistics: Coordinate with project and site managers to track indent requests, maintain stock visibility, and ensure smooth in office delivery.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate digital records of quotations, comparison statements, and invoices, ensuring seamless alignment with finance and accounts.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) working as a Purchase Executive or Procurement Officer specifically within the construction, real estate, or infrastructure industry.
- ERP Proficiency: Working knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or construction-specific ERP software) for inventory and purchase management.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction materials, grades, testing standards, and current market rates.
- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of cost-saving.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective vendor coordination.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
