About the studio

Space Interface is a Gurugram-based architecture and interior design firm. We design and build residences, workspaces and experiential spaces, from concept to handover, with one point of contact for the client.

The role

You will own delivery on live projects, from approved design to handover. You will report to the founder and take over day-to-day execution decisions, so that design and client direction stay with the design lead.

Responsibilities

Own each project's schedule, budget and quality from mobilisation to handover.

Plan and track milestones. Report progress to the founder and client on a fixed rhythm.

Direct site supervisors and contractors. Verify work against GFC drawings and specifications.

Run quality checks at each project stage. Manage snagging and handover.

Coordinate with the design team to resolve site queries and drawing changes before they cause delays.

Review contractor quotes, scope and measurements against the BOQ.

Manage variations, approvals and change records in writing.

Track project payments against milestones. Flag delays and overruns early.

Maintain site reports, photo records and project files in the project management system.

Requirements

Education

Degree in architecture (B.Arch), interior design or civil engineering (B.Tech/B.E.), or a diploma in civil engineering or interior design with robust execution experience.

PMP or equivalent certification is a plus, not a requirement.





Experience

3 to 5 years managing interior fit-out or architectural execution, with at least 2 years leading projects independently.

Has managed two to three concurrent sites without loss of quality or schedule.

Can read and check architectural, interior and MEP drawings, and identify clashes before work begins.

Working knowledge of BOQs, measurement, contractor billing and variation records.

Has directed civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and finishing trades, and knows what correct work looks like in each.

Has run snagging and handover to a client's standard.

Residential, commercial experience preferred.

Proficient in MS Excel and a project tracking tool. AutoCAD for reading and markup.

Location

Based in Gurugram, or within a daily commute of our office.

The role is in person, with regular site visits.
