Role Description The Project Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

The Project

Engineer will oversee engineering projects from concept through execution, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities.

Responsibilities include preparing project plans and schedules, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting electrical and mechanical installation work. The role involves tracking progress against timelines, identifying risks or delays, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The Project

Engineer will also communicate regularly with stakeholders,



prepare reports and documentation, and support continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Qualifications

- Solid project engineering and project management skills, with experience in project planning and execution.
- Applied knowledge of electrical engineering and related industrial or mechanical systems.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Excellent proficiency in English writing & speaking (mandatory).
- Excellent e-mail writing skills with no margin of typing error. Mail writing should be clear & concise such as an RFI follow-up, material approval request, site update & vendor follow up etc.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in industrial or mechanical engineering environments, preferably in on-site project roles.
- Proficiency with project management and engineering tools (e.g., MS Project, CAD software) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
