The Professor of Pharmacology will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the department, including teaching, research, and service. They will be expected to develop and maintain a high-quality research program and contribute to the educational mission of the college by teaching and mentoring students.

Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and direction for the department of pharmacology
- Develop and maintain a high-quality research program
- Contribute to the educational mission of the college by teaching and mentoring students




- Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers
- Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers within the college and across the university
- Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities

Qualifications:

- Ph.D. in Pharmacology or a related field
- Solid record of research and publications in the field of pharmacology
- Experience in teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other faculty members and researchers
