Role Overview-We are looking for a high-performing SAP SD Functional Consultant to act as a crucial bridge between local business teams and our Europe-based ABAP development team. This is not a standard configuration-only role; you will actively analyze complex custom objects, write accurate Functional Specifications (FS), and guide offshore developers to deliver business-critical enhancements.
Key Requirements
Core Expertise: 8–10 years of solid hands-on experience in SAP SD and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes (Sales, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Output Determination).
Positive experience in API Integration.
Technical Interface: Deep experience working with Custom Objects, APIs, and SAP/non-SAP integrations.
Documentation: Proven track record of writing detailed, flawless Functional Specifications (FS).
Communication (Critical): Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory. You must be highly capable of explaining complex functional requirements to European developers.
Domain Plus: Prior experience in the Automotive industry or large enterprise environments is a major advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Translate complex business requirements into clear technical directives for the Europe ABAP team.
Analyze existing custom developments and evaluate their functional impact.
Provide robust production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Drive unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support to closure.
