About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and curious journalist who has a robust interest in news, current affairs and storytelling. The candidate will work with our editorial team to research, report and create news content for print and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Research and write news stories.
Follow local, regional and national current affairs.
Identify compelling and newsworthy topics.
Conduct interviews and gather information from sources.
Verify facts before publishing.
Write explicit and engaging news content.
Assist with on-ground reporting when required.
Create content for digital and social media platforms.
Work with the editorial team on daily news coverage.
Requirements
No prior experience required — freshers are welcome.
Strong interest in journalism and current affairs.
Valuable Gujarati and/or English communication skills.
Good writing and research skills.
Curiosity and willingness to learn.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
