Role & responsibilities :
Plan and coordinate domestic and export dispatches as per customer delivery schedules.
Arrange suitable transporters, containers, trailers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
Handle logistics for heavy, oversized, and project cargo where applicable.
Coordinate with CHA/customs brokers, freight forwarders, ports, shipping lines, and transporters for export shipments.
Prepare and coordinate export and shipping documentation, including Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, BL, Certificate of Origin, etc.
Track shipments/vehicles and ensure on-time delivery to domestic and international customers.
Obtain and negotiate freight and transportation rates and control logistics costs.
Monitor and minimize detention, demurrage, transit delays, and other additional logistics costs.
Coordinate loading, packing, lashing,



and secure handling of heavy/valuable equipment.
Resolve transportation, documentation, customs, and delivery-related issues.
Maintain shipment tracking, freight cost, dispatch, POD, and logistics MIS reports.
Evaluate transporter/freight-forwarder performance and coordinate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, export regulations, and Incoterms.

Preferred candidate profile : A result-oriented logistics skilled with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/heavy engineering setting, capable of independently handling domestic and export shipments from dispatch planning through final delivery
