Role & responsibilities
Generate recent business through cold calling, referrals, networking, digital leads and market visits.
Identify potential customers and develop a strong sales pipeline.
Understand customer requirements and present suitable products/services.
Conduct client meetings, product/service presentations and demonstrations.
Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and close sales effectively.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain robust relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Follow up regularly with leads, quotations and pending opportunities.
Generate repeat business, referrals and upselling opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer and sales information in CRM/software.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and maintain sales MIS.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Accounts and Customer Support for smooth order/service delivery.
Ensure timely follow-up for payments and outstanding amounts where required.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, target achievement and market feedback to management.

Good client relationship management skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
Solid follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, if required.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage.
25 years of relevant sales/business development experience.
Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales targets will be preferred.
