Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database scripts.
Design and maintain database tables, relationships, indexes, and other database objects.
Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries for application and reporting requirements.
Analyze and improve query and database performance.
Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related application and production issues.
Identify and correct data inconsistencies and integrity issues.
Support application development teams with database-related requirements.
Perform database changes, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
Support database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.
Monitor database performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Work closely with developers, QA teams, business users, and project teams.
Prepare technical documentation for database objects, changes, and processes.
Provide production support and resolve SQL/database-related incidents within agreed timelines.
Follow database security, coding, development, and deployment standards.
