Ithis Hospital, Malappuram, Kerala is looking for an experienced and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team.

Position: Staff Nurse – NICU

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant NICU experience

Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM

Registration: Valid Kerala Nursing & Midwifery Council registration

Location: Kizhakkethala, Malappuram, Kerala

Key Responsibilities
Provide protected and compassionate nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
Monitor vital signs and the clinical condition of newborns.
Assist doctors during procedures and emergency situations.
Manage and monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors and other NICU equipment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation.




Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
Support feeding, medication administration and routine newborn care.
Communicate effectively with doctors and parents/attendants.
Maintain NICU safety, cleanliness and professional standards.

Requirements
Previous experience in NICU / Neonatal Care is mandatory.
Valuable clinical knowledge and patient-handling skills.
Ability to work in shifts, including night duty.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Responsible, compassionate and disciplined approach to patient care.

Salary: As per experience and qualification.
