Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Production Engineer based in Kochi.

The Production

Engineer intern will support daily production activities, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring manufacturing processes for connected medical devices.

Responsibilities include assisting with production scheduling, ensuring adherence to quality standards, documenting processes, and helping resolve technical or process-related issues on the shop floor. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing basic reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in production efficiency and safety.



The intern will gain hands-on experience in a healthcare-focused product environment and work closely with senior engineers and supervisors.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Production Engineering and Production Planning for managing manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control for maintaining product standards and compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with production teams and reporting issues clearly.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related engineering discipline (students or recent graduates are welcome).
- Basic understanding of manufacturing tools, safety practices, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, follow instructions accurately, and collaborate in a team setting.
- Interest in healthcare technology or medical devices and willingness to learn in a quick-paced environment.
