Job Title : SolidWorks Casting Years of Experience : 3 Years Location : Chennai

We are looking for a SolidWorks Design Engineer with 3 years of experience in engine component design and sheet metal design. The candidate should have positive hands-on experience in SolidWorks and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, and sheet metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Design and modify engine components and sheet metal components.
Work on components manufactured through casting and forging processes.
Create sheet metal parts, bends, flat patterns, and fabrication drawings.
Apply appropriate GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering standards.
Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).




Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve design issues.
Handle engineering changes, design modifications, and drawing updates.

Required Skills
3 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
Experience in engine component design.
Good knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication.
Understanding of casting and forging components.
Robust knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies, and 2D detailing.
Valuable understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
