Responsibilities
Design fittings and couplings (JIC, BSP, NPT, ORFS, SAE flange, metric) and prepare 3D models and GD&T; drawings.
Run prototypes, trials and pilot lots through to production.
Coordinate with manufacturing and vendors on manufacturability, costing and tooling.
Plan validation tests (pressure, burst, leak) and maintain NPD documentation.
Handle customer technical queries and sample approvals.
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech Mechanical [confirm if Diploma is acceptable].
5–6 years of NPD experience in pipes, fittings or hydraulic connectors.
SolidWorks or Creo, AutoCAD, and positive knowledge of thread standards and materials.
Valuable to have: tube bending, brazing or hose assembly exposure.
