Job Purpose To manage the day-to-day Stores operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control and timely issue of materials to support uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and verify raw materials, electronic components, mechanical parts and consumables against Purchase Orders.
Coordinate with Quality for incoming inspection and maintain inward/GRN records.
Maintain proper bin location, identification, FIFO and material traceability.
Issue materials to Production and other departments as per approved requirements.
Maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory.
Conduct regular stock verification and investigate inventory variances.
Monitor critical/shortage materials and coordinate with Purchase and Production.
Control slow-moving, excess and obsolete materials.
Maintain 5S, safety and housekeeping within the Stores area.
Supervise Store Assistants and ensure proper documentation and discipline.
Support continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and material handling processes.
Required Skills
3–6 years’ experience in a manufacturing Stores environment.
Good knowledge of ERP, Excel, inventory management and FIFO.
Experience handling electronic and mechanical components preferred.
Positive coordination, organisation and team-management skills.
