Physical Design Engineer Full-Time, Permanent

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Physical Design Engineer with strong experience in floor planning, Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), power routing, place and route, and timing closure.
Execute floor planning, CTS, power routing, place and route, timing closure, DRC, and LVS for block-level and top-level designs.
Conduct Static Timing Analysis (STA) and implement appropriate timing fixes.
Work with advanced physical design methodologies and industry-standard tools.
Support designs using advanced technology nodes, including 14nm and below.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Work on designs without an existing customer flow when required.
Troubleshoot physical design issues and contribute to design quality and project milestones.

Required Skills
In-depth experience in floor planning, CTS, power routing, place and route, and timing closure.
Solid knowledge of DRC and LVS.
Experience with physical design tools such as Cadence Innovus and Tempus.




Proficiency in Static Timing Analysis and physical verification methodologies.
Familiarity with advanced semiconductor technology nodes, including 14nm and below.
Robust debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualification

BE/ME or BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Profile
Experience working on designs without a customer flow.
Familiarity with advanced physical design methodologies and tools.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
