Role & responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company.
Maintain accurate books of accounts, financial records, and supporting documentation.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and periodic financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, receivables, and payables.
Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with internal teams on invoices, expense documentation, and payment processing.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure timely completion of monthly closing and finance-related reporting.
Assist with statutory, audit, and tax-related documentation, and coordinate with external consultants and auditors.
Identify discrepancies and process gaps, and support improvements in finance and accounting processes.
Maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

EDUCATION & CANDIDATE PROFILE
B.Com / M.Com / MBA,



or a relevant finance or accounting background.
Relevant experience in finance and accounting operations, preferably in a growing business or retail environment.
Solid knowledge of accounting processes, reconciliations, MIS, and financial reporting.
Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple finance activities and meet deadlines.
