Someone with experience in trading in secondary market equities, Shd be able to independently manage a proprietary equity trading book, including identifying, evaluating, and executing investment prospects in listed equities.
Already has active engagement and connectivity with market intermediaries including brokers, analysts, merchant bankers, and research outfits
Can conduct ongoing fundamental analysis of companiesfinancial statements, earnings trends, corporate actions, sector dynamics, etc.
Can carry out technical analysis of charts
Monitor market conditions, flows, and corporateaction windows to identify trade ideas aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite.
Prepare trade rationales, performance summaries, and inputs for periodic reviews as required by internal governance and Investment Committee processes
Preferable : Past experience of working in a bank/sfb treasury/mutual fund /any other prop trading outfit.Role & responsibilities
