ob Purpose The Purchase Manager – F&B; is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and procuring all raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and consumables required for ISKCON’s food operations, while ensuring quality, cost control, timely availability, and compliance with ISKCON standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management

- Source and procure raw materials such as grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy, oils, spices, groceries, packaging materials, and kitchen consumables
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base aligned with ISKCON quality and ethical standards
- Negotiate prices, contracts, credit terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials for daily kitchen and production operations

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all procured items meet food safety, quality, and ISKCON standards
- Coordinate with Quality/Production teams for vendor approval and material evaluation
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and local food regulations

Cost Control & Budgeting

- Monitor purchase costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
- Prepare purchase budgets and track monthly procurement expenses
- Analyze price trends and recommend alternate sourcing where required

Inventory Coordination

- Coordinate with Stores and Production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Avoid overstocking, shortages, and wastage




- Review stock reports and plan purchases accordingly

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain purchase orders, vendor records, bills, and approvals
- Ensure timely submission of purchase-related documents to Accounts
- Prepare periodic purchase reports, vendor performance reviews, and cost analysis

Inter-Department Coordination

- Work closely with Kitchen, Production, Stores, Accounts, and Operations teams
- Support special events, festivals, and peak-period procurement planning

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Hotel Management, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in F&B; purchasing (hotels, restaurants, catering, or food production units)
- Strong knowledge of food raw materials, vendor sourcing, and pricing
- Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
- Familiarity with inventory systems, MS Excel, and basic ERP tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, devotional setting

Preferred Experience

- Experience in large kitchens, temples, catering units, or food manufacturing
- Knowledge of vegetarian food procurement and bulk purchasing
- Prior exposure to compliance and food safety norms

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
