About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of procurement and supply chain activities for our farm operations. You will manage the sourcing and purchase of goats, feed, and essential farm materials, ensuring quality, competitive pricing, reliable suppliers, and timely delivery.

This role suits someone who is organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and travelling extensively.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage procurement of goats, feed, and farm supplies in line with breeding and operational requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate deliveries to ensure uninterrupted availability of essential farm inputs.
- Track market prices and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement records.




- Maintain appropriate stock levels and prevent shortages and wastage.
- Ensure purchased goats and materials meet quality standards and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare procurement budgets, reports, and supplier performance reviews.
- Build long-term supplier relationships and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Travel extensively for sourcing, vendor coordination, and operational requirements.

What We Are Looking For
- Robust knowledge of procurement, vendor management, cost analysis, and supply chain coordination.
- Strong negotiation, planning, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take independent ownership of procurement outcomes.
- Attention to quality, supplier reliability, and timely delivery.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel extensively.
- Experience in agriculture, livestock, animal feed, veterinary supplies, or farm procurement is preferred.
