About Position:

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to join our strategic engineering organization. This is a highly influential senior leadership role focused on solving complex business and technology challenges through deep technical engagement with AWS and enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will combine world-class engineering expertise, cloud architecture leadership, Generative AI and Agentic AI experience, and exceptional customer-facing skills.

This role requires leading with working software, prototypes, reusable accelerators, and production-grade implementations rather than presentations alone.

What You'll Do:

- Act as Persistent's senior technical representative for AWS and strategic enterprise customers.
- Lead executive-level technical discussions from business problem definition through solution realization.
- Design and architect complex cloud-native solutions using AWS services and modern architecture patterns.
- Develop production-grade proof of concepts, reference architectures, accelerators, and reusable technical assets.
- Drive architecture assessments,



discovery workshops, modernization initiatives, and technical strategy engagements.
- Partner with AWS teams and customer executives to identify and accelerate strategic transformation opportunities.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical deep dives, code walkthroughs, and solution demonstrations.
- Support enterprise transformation programs across cloud modernization, application modernization, data modernization, AI, and Generative AI.
- Design and implement highly scalable, resilient, secure, and observability-enabled distributed systems.
- Guide customers in adopting event-driven architecture, real-time processing, microservices, and platform engineering best practices.
- Architect enterprise-scale AI platforms leveraging AWS Bedrock, Agentic AI frameworks, and multi-agent systems.
- Build innovative solutions using container platforms, serverless technologies, cloud data platforms, and AI/ML services.
- Define engineering standards, governance models, reference architectures, and technical best practices.
- Contribute to strategic pursuits, executive presentations, solution proposals, and high-impact customer engagements.
- Mentor architects, engineering leaders, and technical teams across the organization.
- Represent the organization through conferences, customer events, technical blogs, whitepapers, and thought leadership programs.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 18–20 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud architecture, distributed systems, or enterprise technology leadership.
- Deep expertise across AWS services including compute, networking, storage, security, observability, data platforms, serverless, and container ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience designing fault-tolerant, self-healing, resilient, and highly available platforms.
- Expertise in event-driven architecture and real-time processing systems.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud transformation and modernization solutions.




- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API-led integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale data platforms and modern data architectures.
- Strong knowledge of NoSQL, document, graph, vector, and relational database technologies.
- Experience designing data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data migration strategies.
- Expertise in Change Data Capture (CDC) and real-time data processing architectures.
- Experience building cloud-native analytics and intelligent data platforms.
- Expert-level programming experience in Rust, Go, C++.
- Strong systems engineering and performance optimization experience.
- Experience building enterprise-scale distributed applications and cloud-native platforms.
- Ability to architect and review complex production-grade systems.
- Hands-on expertise with GraphQL, gRPC, MuleSoft, Apache Camel, WSO2, Boomi.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, cloud services, and data platforms.
