Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts and record purchase, expense, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
Verify supplier invoices and subcontractor running account (RA) bills against purchase orders, work orders, approved measurements, and supporting documents.
Track advances, retention amounts, security deposits, recoveries, and outstanding balances.
Process approved vendor, subcontractor, and employee payments as per company procedures.
Manage petty cash, site expenses, employee advances, and supporting vouchers.
Reconcile bank accounts, vendor and subcontractor ledgers, and inter-site transactions.
Coordinate with Stores and site teams to reconcile material receipts, invoices, and stock records.
Prepare project-wise expense statements, cash requirements, payable ageing, and monthly financial reports.
Support GST and TDS calculations, reconciliations, and return preparation in coordination with the Finance team.




Coordinate payroll accounting and reconcile salary and statutory payment records with HR.
Assist with monthly closing, internal and statutory audits, and client documentation requirements.
Maintain organised accounting records and ensure adherence to company approval procedures.

Required Skills
Working knowledge of construction accounting, RA bills, subcontractor recoveries, and project cost tracking.
Proficiency in Tally / ERP accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
Robust attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience working at construction project sites will be an added advantage.

Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head, with coordination with the Project Manager for site activities.
