Role & responsibilities
Lead end-to-end field service operations, maintenance, commissioning, and technical support for underground mining and tunneling equipment, with specific experience in Longwall Machines and Longwall Mining Systems.
Manage installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of longwall equipment.
Handle service contracts, customer relationships, service revenue growth, and cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards, mine safety regulations, SOPs, and contractual obligations.
Manage service teams, technicians, training, and competency development at mining sites.
Coordinate with Sales, Technical Support, Planning, Engineering,



and customer teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Monitor equipment availability, MTTR, MTBF, service KPIs, and customer satisfaction.
Manage spare parts inventory, resource allocation, budgets, and operational planning.
Drive equipment performance improvement, asset optimization, and remote monitoring initiatives.
Develop service business prospects, including equipment rental, refurbishment, and lifecycle service support.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience with Longwall Machines and Longwall Mining Systems is mandatory.
