We are looking for skilled and experienced Laser & Bending Machine Operators cum Programmers with hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, and bending machine operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and program laser cutting machines, including SIL and Protech Laser Smart models.
Operate and program CNC / NC bending machines and press brake machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, dimensions, and tolerances.
Prepare and execute laser cutting and bending programs as per production requirements.
Set machine parameters, cutting speed, laser power, gas pressure, bend angles, and tooling.
Perform machine setup, tool selection, and program adjustments.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and conduct first-piece inspection.
Monitor production targets, product quality, and delivery schedules.
Troubleshoot basic machine, cutting, and bending-related issues.
Minimize material wastage and maintain product quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance and follow safety procedures and 5S practices.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in laser cutting and/or bending machine operation and programming.
Knowledge of SIL and Protech Laser Smart machines is preferred.
Experience in CNC / NC press brake bending operations is preferred.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand sheet metal fabrication processes.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection.
Valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
