Minimum Qualification

- Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

- Execute and lead Pipe Support Engineering activities for offshore oil & gas projects.
- Develop conceptual and detailed pipe support designs in compliance with project and client requirements.
- Prepare and review:
- Pipe Support Layouts
- Pipe Support Drawings
- Standard Support Details
- Special Support Designs
- Support MTOs
- Pipe Support Specifications
- Support Calculations

- Design and engineer various pipe supports including:

- Rigid Supports
- Spring Supports
- Variable Spring Hangers
- Constant Spring Hangers
- Guides
- Anchors
- Stops
- Trunnions
- Shoe Supports
- Special Pipe Supports

- Coordinate with Pipe Stress Engineers to ensure support systems satisfy flexibility and stress requirements.
- Review stress analysis outputs and implement support requirements accordingly.
- Ensure support designs comply with operating, transportation, installation, and offshore load conditions.
- Perform support load assessment and support steel coordination.




- Support resolution of piping vibration and support-related issues.
- Participate in model reviews and interdisciplinary engineering reviews.
- Ensure constructability, accessibility, maintainability, and operability requirements are addressed.
- Coordinate support installation requirements with construction and fabrication teams.
- Review vendor packages and identify support requirements associated with package piping.
- Resolve technical queries during engineering, fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Support offshore modification and brownfield projects involving support assessments and upgrades.
- Guide junior engineers and designers involved in pipe support engineering activities.
