Job Description

For this position, the job context typically involves managing knitting production and technical operations in a textile or knitwear manufacturing workplace. The role may cover fabric quality, machine efficiency, production planning, troubleshooting, and coordination with dyeing, merchandising, and quality teams.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Supervise daily knitting production and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Monitor machine performance, utilization, efficiency, and preventive maintenance.
• Identify and troubleshoot knitting-related technical issues and fabric defects.
• Ensure fabric quality according to buyer specifications and approved standards.
• Monitor GSM, loop length, yarn consumption, fabric construction, and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Dyeing departments.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions to minimize fabric defects and production losses.
• Control yarn wastage, machine downtime, and operational costs.




• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and technical performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety, and operational procedures.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the technical team.

Academic Qualifications

• HSC
• Concentration/Major: HSC or Diploma in Textile
