ITI Fitter – Job Description

Location: Vasai, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Number of Openings: 3
Qualification: ITI / 10th / 12th
Experience: Freshers to 2 years preferred; experienced candidates are also welcome

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for machine component fitting, mechanical assembly, inspection, alignment, and supporting machine trials and workshop activities.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble and fit machine components as per engineering drawings.
Perform drilling, tapping, alignment, and mechanical assembly operations.
Read and understand basic mechanical drawings and dimensions.
Inspect and measure components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Support machine trials, testing, installation, and workshop activities.
Maintain required quality standards during fitting and assembly work.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Properly maintain and handle tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.

Required Skills




Basic knowledge of fitting and mechanical assembly operations.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and basic measuring instruments.
Valuable understanding of drilling, tapping, alignment, and fitting work.
Valuable teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
Freshers with relevant ITI training are encouraged to apply.

Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience
Experienced candidates with relevant machine assembly/fitting experience
