Role Description The Owner at Fidc News will oversee the overall strategy, operations, and growth of the portal, ensuring it remains the leading source of FIDC news and analysis. This is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, responsible for supervising editorial direction, approving major content initiatives, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. Day-to-day tasks include managing budgets, coordinating with editorial and marketing teams, building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, and exploring new revenue and expansion opportunities.

The role also involves monitoring market trends, guiding product development, and making key decisions on technology, staffing, and partnerships to support the long-term sustainability of the business.

Qualifications

- Strong background in business management, media leadership, or entrepreneurship, preferably within financial services or news organizations.
- Knowledge of financial markets, structured finance,



or FIDCs, with the ability to understand complex regulatory and market developments.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational oversight for a growing organization or business unit.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to work with investors, partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to make data-informed decisions, analyze performance metrics, and implement improvements across editorial, marketing, and technology functions.
- Comfort working on-site in Chennai and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Journalism, Communications, or a related field; relevant entrepreneurial or leadership experience is highly valued.
