- Job SummaryWe are looking for a customer-focused and motivated Optical Sales Executive for our Modinagar location. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting suitable spectacles, eyeglass frames, and lenses based on their prescriptions, preferences, and budgets. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and an interest in optical retail sales.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting suitable eyeglass frames, lenses, and other optical products.
- Understand customers' requirements and recommend products according to their prescriptions, preferences, and budgets.
- Explain different types of lenses, including single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the optical business.
- Maintain good customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with optometrists to understand prescriptions and address customers' optical requirements.
- Ensure the accurate recording of customer prescriptions and orders.
- Follow up with customers regarding spectacle orders, delivery, and after-sales service.
- Maintain product displays, stock availability, and proper inventory records.
- Check spectacles for basic quality parameters, including frame alignment, lens fitting, and visible defects before delivery.
- Handle customer queries, complaints,



repairs, and adjustments professionally.
- Maintain billing records and follow store procedures for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of the optical store.

3. Educational Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass or graduate.
- Candidates with a diploma or certification in opticianry or optical dispensing will be preferred.

4. Experience
- Experience in optical retail sales, spectacle sales, or eyewear retail will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in retail sales, customer service, or showroom sales may also be considered.
- Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to learn may apply.

5. Required Skills
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Knowledge of eyeglass frames, lenses, and optical products.
- Sales negotiation and customer relationship management.
- Ability to understand basic spectacle prescriptions.
- Basic computer knowledge and billing skills.
