About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our early intervention and pediatric therapy team. The role involves working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

The therapist will primarily focus on sensory integration, functional skills, motor development, regulation, and participation in daily activities, while working closely with children, parents, and the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct individual OT sessions for children with developmental and sensory needs.
- Plan and implement sensory integration and sensory regulation activities.
- Work on fine motor, gross motor, bilateral coordination, motor planning, visual-motor and perceptual skills.
- Address functional skills including activities of daily living (ADLs), attention, sitting tolerance and independence.
- Develop individualized therapy goals and intervention plans.
- Monitor and document children’s progress and maintain session records.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding progress, home strategies and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Special Educators, Behaviour Therapists, Speech Therapists and Physiotherapists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Use play-based and child-centred approaches to make therapy engaging and meaningful.
- Maintain professional standards,



safety and appropriate clinical documentation.

Eligibility

Preferred

- BOT / MOT or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working with pediatric or neurodevelopmental populations.
- Experience in sensory integration, autism, developmental delay and early intervention will be an advantage.

Physiotherapists may also apply if they have relevant experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, sensory-motor difficulties, or under the supervision/collaboration of an Occupational Therapist and have a strong interest in pediatric therapy and sensory-motor intervention. - Good understanding of sensory processing and sensory regulation.
- Comfortable working with children with autism and developmental challenges.
- Robust observation and clinical reasoning skills.
- Patient, compassionate and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop clinically.

Freshers with strong pediatric interest and relevant clinical exposure may also be considered.
