Role Description The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing children and adults to identify functional, sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges, and for designing individualized treatment plans to improve daily living and participation. Day-to-day duties include conducting standardized and clinical assessments, delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions based on measurable outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, and rehabilitation professionals,



as well as regular communication with families and caregivers to provide education and home-based program guidance.

The therapist will work across pediatric and adult services, supporting individuals with developmental disorders, neurological conditions, orthopedic issues, and other rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with demonstrated ability to assess and treat clients across pediatric and adult populations.
- Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles and practices, including functional training, neuro-rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
- Understanding of Pediatrics, child development, and intervention strategies for conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members, and for explaining treatment plans clearly.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; valid professional registration or licensure as required.
- Previous clinical experience in pediatric therapy, neuro-rehabilitation, or orthopedic rehabilitation is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and follow evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a client-centered approach, with a commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
