Key Responsibilities

- Monitor network device performance and availability, primarily focusing on Cisco networking equipment.

- Perform initial analysis and troubleshooting of network connectivity and TCP/IP protocol issues.

- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network devices, adhering to established Cisco IOS best practices.

- Support the implementation and daily management of network security policies on various network security devices.

- Contribute to the documentation of network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

- Participate in vulnerability scanning activities for network infrastructure, assisting with data collection and initial reporting using platforms like Tenable (Nessus).

- Collaborate with senior network engineers on security projects, including network segmentation and access control initiatives.

- Provide initial support during network-related security incidents, assisting with log review and data collection.





Requirements

- 0-1 years of qualified experience in network operations or a related technical field.

- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (Btech) degree.

- Demonstrable foundational understanding of networking concepts, including CCNA curriculum principles.

- Proficiency in Cisco networking fundamentals and basic Cisco IOS commands.

- Solid grasp of TCP/IP protocol suite, including addressing, subnetting, routing, and common services.

- Ability to analyze network traffic and interpret network diagrams.

- Strong problem-solving aptitude and a drive for continuous learning in cybersecurity.

- This is an onsite role based in Gurugram.
