Shiv Jyoti Convent School is looking for a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join our team and inspire students through music and performing arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging music classes for students.
- Teach vocal and/or instrumental music as per students’ age and learning levels.
- Prepare students for school events, annual functions, competitions, assemblies, and cultural programmes.
- Develop students’ musical skills, confidence, creativity, and stage presence.
- Organise and conduct music practices and performances.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and encouraging learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers for cultural activities and school events.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Diploma in Music or a related field preferred.
- Relevant teaching experience in a school or educational institution will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indian and/or Western Music.
- Positive communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to train students for stage performances and competitions.
- Passionate, creative, energetic, and student-friendly approach.
