Primary Skill : MSSQL Server & PostgreSQL DBA

Please find the below,

- 4+ years of database administration and production support experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, including installation, backup and recovery, replication, performance monitoring, and high availability.
- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, index/statistics maintenance, and resolving database bottlenecks.
- Solid knowledge of backup, restore, disaster recovery, capacity planning, storage, and database growth management.
- Understanding of SQL Server HA/DR technologies, including Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping, Replication, and Database Mirroring.
- Experience in database security, user access, roles,



permissions, integrity checks, and routine maintenance.
- Ability to support database migrations, deployments, patching, upgrades, production incidents, and root cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX, database monitoring tools, and technical documentation.
- Good communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills, with willingness to support planned production activities.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience in large enterprise environments, database migrations, and consolidation.
- Knowledge of proactive monitoring, capacity management, and ITIL processes.
- Experience with cloud PaaS and managed database services for Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL (Azure/AWS).
