About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Model N Expert to support and optimize our pharmaceutical commercial operations. In this role, you will manage end-to-end revenue management, government pricing compliance, contract administration, and rebate processing within the Model N ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical configurations to prevent revenue leakage and ensure 100% regulatory compliance. [1, 4, 5, 6]

Key Responsibilities

- Revenue & Contract Management: Configure, maintain, and support Model N modules including Pricing, Contract Management, Chargebacks, Rebates, and Deal Management. [3]
- Government Pricing & Compliance: Execute and validate calculations for Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Best Price, Medicaid Drug Rebates, and 340B pricing compliance. [1, 4]
- Data Integration & Operations: Work with data pipelines, SQL/PL/SQL, Unix, and integration tools (Informatica, Mulesoft, or Databricks) to sync ERP and CRM systems with Model N. [3]
- Adjudication & Settlement: Monitor, audit, and resolve discrepancies in wholesale chargebacks, group purchasing organization (GPO) admin fees, and commercial rebates. [1, 7]




- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to translate business rules into system requirements, lead upgrades, and handle audits. [1, 2, 3]
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Perform root-cause analysis, query tuning, and performance enhancements for Model N (including Model N Flex) workflows. [3, 4]

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or Life Sciences. [2, 4]
- Core Expertise:
- Hands-on configuration and implementation experience with Model N (or Model N on Flex).
- Deep understanding of the Life Sciences / Managed Markets domain (Gross-to-Net, PBMs, Wholesalers, GPOs).
- Proficiency in Government Pricing rules and compliance reporting. [1, 3, 4]
- Technical Skills:
- Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Excel (Advanced/VBA), and data querying/reporting tools (Tableau, Cognos).
- Experience with ETL/integration architecture and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. [3, 4]
